From January 1, 2025, new regulations regarding the handling and demolition of asbestos will come into force.
These rules mean that demolition of asbestos-containing materials now requires authorization, and the Danish Working Environment Authority has tightened the requirements by classifying asbestos work as “dusty work”.
This entails, among other things, requirements for specialized equipment, such as environmental trucksthat ensure proper handling of asbestos dust.

GODIK x DHL Relay 2023

Godik has recently been driving between the square in Hedehusene and Fælledparken. Fences, toilet carts and other equipment have been delivered for this year’s DHL Relay, which takes place this week from Monday, August 28 through September 1, 2023.

We at Godik are proud to be a partner of Sparta Athletics and Running, which organizes the DHL Relay Copenhagen and other annual events, including the CPH Half in September. The event is sold out and with a record 135,000 participants, the DHL Relay is considered the world’s largest exercise event.

Supplier for the biggest events

In Godik, we have the capacity to handle the largest events on the equipment side. Our equipment catalog covers a wide range of vehicles and equipment for all purposes. We can scale both capacity and volume to tailor solutions for any event.

One of the challenges of the DHL Relay is that the event brings a lot of people together in one place in a relatively short period of time. Delivery in Fælledparken

Godik opens branch in Sweden

Godik has just taken a big and exciting step towards becoming the leading Nordic equipment rental company for festivals and events. From April 2023, Godik Sweden will open its first branch.

More Swedish customers have been added in recent years, with particularly strong demand for the 2023 season. It is this development that triggered negotiations with the company One4Events earlier this year.
The acquisition of wagons and equipment, as well as the site in Mjöhult near Helsingborg, will initially form the framework for the daily operation of Godik’s Swedish branch.

CEO Jakob Udesen says: “The desire to continue Godik’s growth journey and to be able to offer our Swedish customers an attentive service has been part of our goal. We are happy and proud that the agreement with One4Events has become a reality and we have an ambition that our Swedish customers will have the same services and product range as we know from Denmark.”

All preparations for a busy event and festival season are in full swing at Godik and so is the start-up of the new department, where we in this connection can also welcome new Swedish employees at Godik.

It’s nothing new that we rent out mobile homes, we’ve been doing it almost from the very beginning. But what’s new is the size and layout of this trailer we’ve brought home. It is spacious and furnished with everything you need.

It’s our biggest vehicle to date and we can’t wait to get it on the road.

We now have quite a few caravans to choose from, There are both some that are mostly aimed at businesses, such as the craftsman’s cart, there are also some that are mostly aimed at private individuals, such as the family cart. Whatever you need a camper van for, we have many different models to suit your needs.

What’s new in this 9m caravan

What we have done differently in this caravan is that we have made sure that one room is furnished with a sofa bed instead of a bunk bed. This allows the room to be used both as a bedroom and as a living space. The trolley also has two doors, one on each side of the trolley, so you can actually connect several of the trolleys together.

With our 9 meter trolley you have more flexibility, both in terms of layout and space.

At Godik, we are constantly looking for development and optimization of our business areas. For many years, we have been a major supplier of materials and equipment to the many Danish construction sites, including large Danish construction companies. Among other things, Godik has been a regular supplier of crew wagons to Eurodan-House construction sites in Jutland and Funen.

This has been a fantastic collaboration for both Godik and eurodan-huse, which is why we are pleased to announce that as of 1/1-2022 Godik has taken over the delivery of crew wagons to all construction sites on Zealand managed by eurodan-huse.
