Read about Godik’s storage and use of personal data (GDPR)
What you need to know about our processing of your personal data:
- That GODIK ApS is responsible for the processing of the personal data we receive from you.

- That the purpose of processing your personal data is to provide our goods or services to you and your company and to keep you informed about news, features and product opportunities, cf. GDPR Article 5(1)(b).
- At the legal basis (legal basis) for us processing your personal data is your consent, cf. GDPR Article 6(1)(a), and/or the concluded agreement/contract/order, cf. GDPR Article 6(1)(b), and/or legislation, cf. GDPR Article 6(1)(c), and/or for the controller or a third party to pursue a legitimate interest (unless the interests of the data subject or fundamental rights and freedoms requiring the protection of personal data override this, in particular 1c, and/or for the controller or a third party to pursue a legitimate interest (unless overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child) cf. GDPR Article 6(1)(f). The legitimate interests that justify the processing are the marketing of new services/products.
- That the personal category of the data we store is common (e.g. name, address), confidential (e.g. social security number) and/or sensitive/special personal data (e.g. health data).
- That we disclose or entrust your personal data to external recipients, including our data processors, advisors and any business partners necessary for the task.
- That some of our processors may be located outside the EU/EEA, but all with a lawful basis for transfer.
- That we have received the personal data from you and possibly from publicly available sources.
- That we retain your personal data for as long as it is legal in relation to the Danish Bookkeeping Act, consent rules, statute of limitations and/or other legislation.
- That we do not use personal profiling to make automated decisions that could significantly affect the rights and freedoms of the individual.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights in relation to our processing of your personal data. If you want to exercise your rights, please contact us.
- You have the right to access and rectification, i.e. you can view all your entered data on our platform at any time and rectify/update the information.
- You have the right to request erasure, i.e. you can have your personal data deleted unless we deem it necessary to keep it for a longer period of time for accounting or legal reasons. The data will be deleted at the latest when any claims under property law have expired.
- You have the right to restriction of processing, i.e. you can control any restriction of processing.
- You have the right to object, i.e. in certain cases you have the right to object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data.
- You have the right to have data transferred (data portability). This means that you can retrieve or receive the information at any time.
- You can read more about your rights in the Danish Data Protection Agency’s guide on the rights of data subjects, which you can find at www.datatilsynet.dk.
- Complaint to the Danish Data Protection Agency.
