Disabled toilet developed in collaboration with Green Concert
Years ago, we launched a disabled toilet and shower trolley with a lift – because festivals and events should be for everyone, regardless of physical challenges.
In disabled toilets and bathrooms, it can be challenging to satisfy people with a wide range of needs, while taking into account legal regulations and the working environment of any helpers. That’s why we have partnered with Green Concert in the development of this cart.
The familiar
The disabled trolley gives you many of the features you already know from our other disabled toilets. Handicapped hangers at the toilet, accessible fittings and design based on seating height. The toilet is a so-called Vacuum Toilet, which is an environmentally friendly toilet as it provides a water saving of 95% (compared to a regular flush). Vacuum toilets also stay clean and presentable over a longer period of time, as the vacuum flush flushes the inside of the toilet.
What’s new in this wagon
As a new feature, we have added a bathing function to this disabled trolley. We have tried to create a flexible and functional trolley that gives disabled people as well as caregivers the best hygienic conditions on the move in a (perhaps) challenging environment. Therefore, in the bathing section you will find a traverse lift to help the disabled person safely into the bath. The bath shower mixer is also equipped with an extra long hose. A washstand (with bath stretcher) is located along the right side of the disabled trolley. The washstand can be folded up on the wall when not in use. When folded up, the washstand can be used as a bench instead.
The disabled trolley has a lowering axle that allows the trolley to be lowered to ground level to make the drive up the ramp as easy as possible.
Festival and concerts for all
We hope that our new disabled trolleys can help create better conditions for disabled people on the move, for example in connection with concert experiences. We want to help break down some of the limiting barriers that our users with a disability face outside the home. Festivals and concerts should be celebrations that everyone can take part in!
