Godik and Venue Manager found a new joint company, VENUE POS A/S: We want to make it easy, safe and efficient to operate and run events and attractions within sports, festivals, amusements and leisure activities by offering an integrated and cost-effective solution for both access control, cashier service and self-service.
“We have learned that together we can do something new in this area. GODIK is a world champion in efficient logistics and can handle installation and service nationwide. And VENUE MANAGER, which originates from the development agency COMBINE A/S, has many years of experience in developing cloud-based solutions for sports clubs, festivals and amusement parks. Together we complement each other very well. Hence this joint company VENUE POS” says Kim Godiksen.
This is a completely new access control solution, integrated with a new cash register and payment solution. This gives customers the opportunity to make an overall service, where, for example, customers who arrive early or often for certain events can be rewarded with a discount at the checkout. Or that you can upgrade your ticket or wristband to a VIP area, for example, at the ticket office.
“We have seen a strong demand for integrated solutions, both to serve customers better but also to reward loyalty – and to make it simpler and more efficient.” says Jakob Norgaard Mortensen, CEO of VENUE MANAGER A/S, who will also become CEO of the new company VENUE POS A/S.
The new company VENUE POS is jointly and equally owned. The company will be located at VENUE MANAGER A/S in Aalborg. As part of the collaboration, Kim Godiksen has also become a partner in VENUE MANAGER A/S and has bought a 16% stake.
