Supply of generator power for Justin Bieber Concert in Aarhus

For Monday’s Justin Bieber concert, Godik had the pleasure of supplying a large amount of material for the set-up and securing of the concert site.

Vacuum Toilets

30 vacuum toilet trolleys with 16 toilets per trolley, as well as urinal farms, allowed the more than 40,000 concertgoers to relieve themselves before, during and after the concert.

Vacuum toilet carts are great for larger events, as vacuum flushing keeps the toilets clean for a longer period of time. Vacuum toilets can also have several visitors per hour, and here it is small measures that make the difference: hand washing takes place outside the toilet cubicle and LED light indicators make it clear when it is free/occupied.
The vacuum toilets have a capacity of about 5000 visits per hour, depending on the connection.

It’s also been designed with the environment in mind – with a water saving of 95% (compared to a regular rinse), it saves on costs while protecting the environment. Vacuum toilets have proven to be an extremely popular solution for many summer events, which is a development that we find responsible.

Godik powers up Bieber

Our twin-set generators (550 + 300 kVA) kept the lights and sound running smoothly throughout the concert. In addition, a 250 kVA generator powered the toilets, a 100 kVA generator powered the backstage and we also had generators to further power the site’s stalls.

In the square, Godik’s light tower was set up for practical purposes. One of the advantages of our light towers is that they are equipped with twilight sensor and on/off timer – they can be delivered with up to 24 light towers.

In addition to toilet facilities and electricity, our credit card terminals were available in the stalls, we provided radio equipment and wristbands as well as luggage boxes for the site. Our high fence surrounded the concert site and created a flow for security checks. In addition, our fence separated the different spectator areas. Safety was paramount at the concert at Jydsk Væddeløbsbane in Aarhus, and the seating arrangement reflected this to a large extent. A successful event that we were happy to be part of. We look forward to returning to Jydsk Væddeløbsbane when Vi Elsker 90’erne takes place on August 26th.
